The 8th-grade class is selling nuts to support their upcoming 8th Grade Lock-in. Pre-pandemic, the 8th-grade class would take a capstone trip each year to either Chicago or Washington, DC. This trip was historically supported via multiple fundraisers throughout the year, including “Parents’ Night Out” and an annual nut sale. Not surprisingly, COVID has once again canceled this tremendously popular event, but in an attempt to make up for it, plans for a lock-in experience are currently in the works. Of course, even a lock-in requires funding, hence the nut sale is on.
