The Teacher Appreciation Week Committee has come up with an amazing week to celebrate our Teachers!
We hope you will join the community in Honoring OLP Teachers May 13-17.
Raffle: We are seeking donations for a "Life Outside of School" Raffle Drawings. Teachers will each get 5 raffle tickets in hopes for a win!
Classroom Wishlists: Teachers spend SO much of their own money on things they want for their classroom. The absolute best gift we can give is to relieve some of these wants! All classrooms (ELP-8 + Specialists) were asked to create Amazon Wishlists for classroom items they would like. Most teachers have chosen to participate. For those classrooms who did not, we will ask that families focus on a specialist or to buy a "grade up". The Wishlist Drive will be open May 13-17 only! The Links to the wishlist will be sent on Monday May 13. Keep an eye out!!
Food Days: Each day has a specific food theme. Sign up to bring an item, OR to help serve Taco Tuesday Lunch and/or Ice Cream Friday (after school). Help is needed to make these days work!
Thank you Tuesday: Ask your students to write Thank You Cards for teachers
Favorites Thursday: Room Parents will send you your teacher's favorite sweet and savory treats!
Please know there is never an obligation to participate or donate! With a portion of the funds that were collected during the Fall Teacher Gift Fund, Eagles Nest and Room Parents will cover the costs of some of the food days and non purchased wishlist items.
