Welcome to Eagles Nest: Our Lady of Peace Catholic School’s Volunteer Organization.
Eagles Nest aims to provide school support through events, fundraising, hospitality, and classroom opportunities.
Eagles Nest utilizes Sign Up Genius for all opportunities.
Areas of involvement are communicated weekly through the Peace Post and updated regularly on this website.
Eagle's Nest Activities
Volunteer Requirements
All volunteers must be up to date with VIRTUS Essential Three (E3).
This includes:
- Complete VIRTUS training
- Sign a Volunteer Code of Conduct
- Complete a Background Check

The 123B Form must be completed, signed, and turned in to the school office, Attn: Cathy Bergen.

Family Volunteer Initiative
Volunteering is a large part of OLP.
With the support of families in our community, Eagles Nest is able to help with events, fundraisers, in-class opportunities, field trips, social events, book fairs, and more.
Our Lady of Peace Catholic School asks each family to complete at least four (4) hours of Volunteer Time at the school.
With 4 hours from every family, volunteer needs will be fulfilled throughout the school year.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are needed to help Kindergarten–2nd grade students during lunch (12:20–12:40 pm) with meals and milk cartons, and you’re welcome to stay for recess (12:40–1:00 pm).
It’s a great way to spend time with our youngest students and lend a hand where it’s most appreciated.
All volunteers must complete VIRTUS training.
Join OLP in the annual celebration of Las Posadas on Friday, December 19.
This beloved annual event includes a morning of song, prayer and tamales!
