We know that entering a new school can be both exciting and stressful. We would like to help new families to Our Lady of Peace School through this transition and into the year ahead.
The Ambassador Family Program pairs up families with children entering Our Lady of Peace k-8 School for the first time with existing (ambassador) families. The ambassador family has one or more children currently in OLP and will be available to answer questions to help the families along their journey.

Additionally, the new families receive a letter over the summer describing some of the school activities and some helpful ideas about entering Our Lady of Peace School.

Enrollment for Preschool-8 will open soon for the 2023-24 school year.
Preschool
Our Lady of Peace requires that children must be three years of age and toilet trained by September 1st to enroll in preschool. A birth certificate, Baptismal certificate (if baptized), health care summary and immunization records must be presented to the school prior to enrolling.

Minnesota State Law requires that children must be five years of age by September 1st to enroll in kindergarten. A birth certificate and Baptismal certificate (if baptized) must be presented to the school prior to enrolling.
All kindergartners enrolling in Our Lady of Peace for the first time must complete Early Childhood Screening. Immunization Records and Health Records are needed before your child may attend school. Minnesota law requires that schools enforce the immunization law. It is free and includes an immunization review, developmental screening, vision and hearing screening and review of your child's health history. It is done by Minneapolis Public School nurses and can be scheduled by calling
All New Students

Financial aid is available for Early Learning Families. Students must be enrolled in the full-day program.
Financial Aid is available for preschool through eighth grade for students attending school from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
How to Apply Online
Financial Aid is available for families with children in Preschool – Eighth Grade. To apply for financial aid, please complete the financial aid application through TADS Financial Aid Center. Once you have applied through TADS, there is a link on your homepage to apply for financial aid.
In addition to our financial aid, the Aim Higher Foundation and CSAF offer scholarships for Catholic School students. The deadline to apply for the Aim Higher scholarship is February 20, 2021. Families should indicate interest in this scholarship at the end of the TADs financial aid process. We encourage all families to apply for financial assistance.
All financial aid applications must be submitted by February 20. You will be notified of your award by April 1.
